Terms of Service

Hallstack LLC · Last updated June 10, 2026

The basics

These terms govern the use of hallstack.dev and the services provided by Hallstack LLC. By engaging Hallstack for services or using this website, you agree to these terms. Individual engagements are governed first by their written scope, proposal, or agreement; these terms fill in anything those documents don’t cover.

Services & scoping

Hallstack provides custom website development, website-as-a-service, landing pages, lead-generation systems, tracking and analytics setup, review request and customer feedback workflows, audience and contact-list management, automation, and custom software consulting.

All work is custom scoped. Each engagement begins with a written scope describing deliverables, timeline, and price. Work outside the written scope is quoted separately before it begins.

Payment

Services are billed by invoice or payment link. Projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due at defined milestones or completion. Recurring services bill monthly in advance. Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice; overdue accounts may result in paused work.

Client responsibilities

To deliver on schedule, we rely on clients to:

  • Provide timely access to necessary accounts, content, and approvals
  • Ensure they have the rights to any content, branding, or data they supply
  • Maintain their own subscriptions to third-party tools they own (domains, hosting, ad accounts, tracking platforms)
  • Review and approve deliverables within a reasonable time

Third-party tools

Engagements often involve third-party platforms such as hosting providers, analytics tools, call-tracking services, advertising platforms, and payment processors. Those services are governed by their own terms and pricing, which can change. Hallstack configures and manages these tools on the client’s behalf but is not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, or policy decisions.

No guaranteed outcomes

Hallstack does not guarantee search rankings, lead volume, ad performance, review outcomes, or revenue. Marketing results depend on factors outside any vendor’s control, including competition, seasonality, platform algorithms, and the client’s own operations. What we commit to is professional work, accurate tracking, and honest reporting.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, clients own the custom deliverables created for their engagement (designs, content, and site code), excluding third-party components and Hallstack’s pre-existing tools and know-how, which are licensed for the client’s use as part of the deliverable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hallstack’s total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the amounts paid for the services giving rise to the claim, and Hallstack is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

Termination & changes

Either party may end an engagement per the terms of the applicable scope or agreement. Work completed up to the termination date is billable. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
